Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the key day-to-day client interface, ensuring client objectives are met through cost management leadership.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders; produce and present final cost plans for large industrial facilities.
  • •Review and collaborate with design teams and general contractors to develop and validate cost estimates; reconcile design and scope changes and ensure contractor data accuracy across workstreams.
  • •Engage contractors and project stakeholders to gather progress updates, maintain accurate cost forecasts, and manage cost checks, valuations, and financial controls.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and written executive summaries, manage cost variance and change control processes, support contingency/commitment tracking, participate in value engineering sessions, and help close out final accounts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or project controls within the construction industry.
  • •Experience delivering cost management on large, complex industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • •Knowledge of procurement strategies, value engineering, and cost control methodologies.
  • •Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills for a client-facing role; RICS accreditation or working toward it is preferred.
