Key Responsibilities

  • •Own review and root-cause assessment of schedule, execution, and delivery issues across the portfolio, validating entity updates against evidence, documentation, and issue history.
  • •Determine substantiated causes of delays (e.g., contractor underperformance, design/IFC delay, procurement/payment blockage, client-side factors, force majeure) based on the paper trail.
  • •Ensure escalated concerns and delivery risks are challenged immediately and closed through real corrective outcomes rather than status changes.
  • •Maintain EPMO Tasks & Issues Log items with clear accountability, actions, evidence, deadlines, and verified closure criteria.
  • •Represent EPMO in entity-level delivery review forums and hold CEOs/COOs/Project Directors accountable for commitments and recovery plans grounded in facts.

Key Requirements

  • •10 to 15 years of major project delivery experience, preferably in a main contractor, PMO, or client-side delivery assurance environment.
  • •Strong construction delivery lifecycle knowledge, including mobilisation through defects liability and handover.
  • •Ability to read and interpret project programmes (e.g., Primavera P6) to identify critical-path slippage, float erosion, and reporting inconsistencies.
  • •Demonstrated root-cause analysis capability to determine substantiated delay sources using evidence, records, and contractual correspondence.
  • •Experience managing escalations and delivery risks through to closure, including handling construction disputes and executive-level reviews.
