Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day activities for assigned teams; identify strengths/weaknesses and opportunities to improve.
  • •Coach, develop, and performance-manage team members; provide clear expectations, performance measures, and goals.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory, and lead repair or reject decisions with the Inspection Center General Manager.
  • •Train associates using Quality Control standards to complete repairs effectively the first time and minimize re-checks and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
  • •Experience using computers and demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of Carvana reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work overtime and on weekends/variable schedules as necessary.
