Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide regulatory risk reviews and practical solutions across SSV business processes, new product launches, and service changes.
  • •Deliver timely, well-grounded Compliance Opinions to front office teams using relevant regulatory and internal control standards.
  • •Own engagement with FSS, FSC, and other supervisory authorities, including regulatory filings, licensing matters, and examination responses.
  • •Maintain regular dialogue with regulators and translate regulatory guidance into internal policy; prepare responses to regulatory information requests.
  • •Localize global SSV guidelines to align with Korean requirements and support compliance oversight activities with the RC and CEO.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep, interpretive understanding of the Korean financial regulatory framework, including the Capital Markets Act and related legislation.
  • •Ability to engage supervisory authorities constructively and persuasively, with strong regulatory relations skills.
  • •Proven ability to provide timely, well-grounded compliance opinions and regulatory risk reviews for business processes and changes.
  • •Advisory mindset focused on finding practical paths forward for front office teams.
  • •Business-level English and professional Korean for cross-border communication and producing high-quality written opinions.
