Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage a DevOps team to develop, test, deploy, maintain, and update DSPE data platforms, cloud platforms, automation systems, and analytics systems.
  • •Manage delivery of software products and systems with correct and robust functionality, ensuring operational visibility and performance.
  • •Translate DSPE business needs into technical specifications, implementation plans, and maintainable system architecture/infrastructure designs.
  • •Optimize infrastructure performance and monitoring across key metrics (e.g., network I/O, disk I/O, RAM, compute utilization) and contribute to delivery lifecycle activities (development through validation).
  • •Improve and enforce procedures for quality, compliance, and documentation; create training materials and coordinate cross-functional stakeholder alignment.

Key Requirements

  • •Lead a DevOps team (or software development team) with at least 3 years of management experience.
  • •10+ years relevant industry experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 8+ years with a Master’s / 4+ years with a Doctorate).
  • •3+ years working in a highly regulated environment (e.g., CLIA and/or FDA-compliant settings).
  • •Strong experience designing, delivering, and maintaining production software tools/systems, preferably high-throughput.
  • •Excellent Python skills and experience with AWS, plus the ability to create design specs, verification/validation documents, and user manuals.
