Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform infusion order intake, including creating patient charts, reviewing and entering orders, and obtaining/communicating missing documents with prescribers
  • •Verify insurance eligibility and gather clinical requirements for authorizations while tracking patient progress
  • •Communicate with patients and providers on infusion order status
  • •Schedule infusion appointments and coordinate drug orders prior to appointments
  • •Educate patients on pre/post-infusion expectations and manage enrollment for copay assistance/foundations and REMS program requirements

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent
  • •1+ year of experience with patient scheduling and medical insurance billing, with general knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
