Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify qualified suppliers aligned to Lucid’s expectations and timelines.
  • •Create RFQs and partner with engineering to support statements of work; review, analyze, and clarify quotations and deliver sourcing recommendations.
  • •Negotiate favorable contracts, including parts pricing, tooling costs, and Engineering Services (NRE/EDT).
  • •Work with suppliers and Engineering to release parts into production and issue POs for prototype parts and prototype/production tooling.
  • •Maintain supplier relationships, serve as the point of contact for commercial issues, and travel 15–25% for supplier business and program reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a technical, supply chain, or finance discipline; MBA preferred but not required.
  • •5+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or engineering experience in the automotive industry.
  • •Prefer experience with relevant body closure technologies (e.g., seals, latches, window regulators, checkers, electronic door handles, power door/decklid systems, hinges).
  • •Product launch experience with knowledge of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis.
  • •Proficiency with Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
