Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and promote safety culture, Life Saving Rules, and safety programs by visiting fixed locations and documenting deficiencies.
  • •Work with site safety teams, line of business leaders, and field crews to promote safety philosophies and personal responsibility.
  • •Perform audits and inspections to identify/correct hazards and ensure regulatory compliance; monitor and analyze safety data to support business needs.
  • •Develop, coordinate, and present safety training initiatives for small and large groups (including Human Performance and MSHA/OSHA programs).
  • •Promote safety innovations, recommend risk-reducing process/product safety features, and participate in job hazard analyses and risk assessments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in safety sciences/safety management/EHS applied sciences (or related health and safety) or a bachelor’s degree in engineering/science with health and safety work experience; or equivalent education and experience.
  • •At least 2–4 years of related work experience.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA 1910 and OSHA 1926 and MSHA regulations (preferred).
  • •Ability to coach, influence, present, and train others; strong written and presentation communication skills.
