Job Summary

Lead strategy science initiatives that use advanced analytics, experimentation, and machine learning to optimize customer acquisition and account management across credit and fraud. Partner with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to frame business problems, design scalable decisioning solutions, and quantify impact. Communicate executive-ready insights through narratives and trade-off analysis, mentor junior team members, and build organizational capabilities while balancing business objectives and regulatory considerations.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify strategy opportunities and advise acquisition and account management leaders on growth, optimization, and risk mitigation initiatives.
•Translate complex business questions into analytical frameworks including hypotheses, success metrics, and experimentation approaches.
•Design and execute analytics initiatives across supervised and unsupervised machine learning for segmentation, anomaly detection, feature engineering, predictive analytics, and pattern recognition.
•Develop and govern test-and-learn decisioning frameworks to evaluate strategies, optimize customer treatment, and quantify business impact.
•Partner cross-functionally across Product, Technology, Model Development, Data, and Business Strategy to influence roadmaps and deliver enterprise initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline with 5+ years in strategy, analytics, or data science in consumer financial services (or 7+ years in lieu of a Bachelor’s).
•Strong expertise across the consumer lending lifecycle including acquisition, underwriting, portfolio management, credit line management, fraud, and collections.
•Advanced technical proficiency in SQL and SAS, plus working knowledge of Python (or equivalent), automation, and data visualization/conversational AI tools.
•Experience applying advanced statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., logistic regression, tree-based models, ensembles, clustering, optimization, neural networks) to solve business problems.
•Experience developing data-driven strategies using test-and-learn methodologies to deliver measurable business outcomes.
