Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise on legal and regulatory matters for Agoda’s travel business, focusing on flights, activities, travel packages, and adjacent travel products.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to travel content, technology licensing and services, and commercial supplier arrangements.
  • •Provide strategic guidance on new travel products and new product features, including deployment in new markets.
  • •Partner with internal stakeholders to identify cross-functional risks (including tax and other legal subject matter expertise) and deliver practical legal solutions across jurisdictions.
  • •Lead, manage, and develop a team of senior lawyers, setting objectives, overseeing performance, and prioritizing work aligned with product, commercial, and regulatory needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree (JD) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both.
  • •Experience in a multinational corporation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • •Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with proven management and leadership experience of small-medium sized teams.
  • •High level of commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • •Strong product/regulatory advisory background with a practical approach to balancing legal risk with business needs, including cross-border matters.
