Job Summary

Own FP&A for major natural gas pipelines in Kinder Morgan’s Natural Gas East Region. Coordinate forecasting, budgeting, and long-range outlooks; build and manage financial models; develop reporting packages; and analyze monthly variances and quarterly business review results. Partner with Business Development, Commercial, Accounting, and Operations to incorporate growth-project impacts, support capital expenditures, and run pricing/operational/volume sensitivities using advanced Excel and Power BI within a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate consolidation and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range outlooks for multiple pipeline assets.
•Develop reporting packages, prepare bi-weekly forecasts, and construct/manage financial models.
•Prepare monthly actual vs. forecast and budget variance analysis, and investigate anomalies.
•Collaborate with Business Development to include the financial impact of growth projects and support project economics.
•Leverage Power BI and advanced Excel to improve models/processes and prepare financial analysis for quarterly business reviews and capital expenditures.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
•Strong skills in analysis, forecasting, planning, and reporting
•Experience with financial modeling and planning (midstream or oil and gas preferred)
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, SUMIF, PivotTables, Macros/VBA) and data validation
•Ability to communicate forecast, budget, and actual results to management and Accounting in detail and at a high level
