Key Responsibilities

  • •Source engineering spares (capex and opex), services, and IMFL consumables and services.
  • •Track indents and arrange materials to meet requirements within timelines.
  • •Maintain minimum engineering stocks and consumables for smooth operations, and perform SLOB reduction.
  • •Collect vendor quotations, negotiate, prepare comparative statements, and forward for approvals; create purchase orders/LOIs.
  • •Perform follow-ups on open PO items and conduct monthly audits with physical verification vs. books; ensure SOP adherence, GRN bookings within 48 hours, and daily consumption bookings, including vendor code creation and vendor development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master’s in Production and Operations preferred.
  • •4-7 years of relevant functional experience in Purchase, materials control, and warehousing.
  • •Preferred experience from distillery and boiler process industry.
  • •Knowledge of Purchase, Materials Management, and Warehousing practices.
  • •Good planning and organizing skills with high flexibility and problem-solving ability.
