Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal advice to Hong Kong business verticals across operational and business matters, including regulatory, IP, e-commerce, employment, privacy, competition, and technology issues.
  • •Advise, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts with third parties such as marketing partners, suppliers, and restaurants.
  • •Review products, features, and initiatives to provide practical, business-driven legal guidance while managing legal risk.
  • •Serve as a legal business partner in initiatives affecting all aspects of the business, collaborating with Legal teams in Berlin and the APAC region.
  • •Support continuous improvement of standard agreements and legal processes, including instructing and managing external advisors and counsel as necessary.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Law and called to the Hong Kong solicitor (or equivalent common law jurisdictions).
  • •1 to 4 years PQE with experience handling legal commercial matters in a leading law firm or in-house department at an internet/e-commerce/platform technology company.
  • •Strong contract negotiation, writing, and drafting skills.
  • •Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up/technology environments, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • •Excellent communication in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be preferred, plus strong stakeholder management and ability to work independently.
