Lead and scale Vercel’s AMER Startups Solutions Architect team within Field Engineering, owning technical excellence across the pre-sales cycle. •Lead, develop, and manage the AMER Startups Solutions Architect team, including training, career development, and compensation.
•Ensure technical excellence across the pre-sales cycle.
•Provide hands-on support for key accounts, including presentations, architecture reviews, and migration plans.
•Oversee and coach Solutions Architect engagement on strategic accounts and critical deals.
•Partner with engineering for product feedback from the field and develop repeatable solution plays based on emerging trends.

Salary: USD 340,000 - 425,000 annually

•10+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar technical pre-sales roles, including 5+ years in a formal leadership position.
•Strong background in web technologies including JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
•Proven ability to lead, coach, and scale technical teams in a high-growth environment.
•Demonstrated success working with enterprise and commercial customers across diverse industries.
•Strong understanding of modern software development workflows including CI/CD, DevOps, and frontend frameworks.
