Job Summary

Lead end-to-end design and administration of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): implement RBAC, access controls, conditional access, MFA, and security center settings; deploy and manage FS Logix for profile and office containers; package and deliver apps (MSIX App Attach, RemoteApp) and configure OneDrive/Teams/Microsoft 365 access. Own AVD networking, storage, host pool/session host setup, image management, and capacity/performance planning.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and implement AVD access management, including roles/RBAC, Azure policies/blueprints, and user restriction using AD group policies and Azure AD policies.
•Design and manage AVD security, including conditional access, MFA, Azure Security Centre settings, and Microsoft Defender configuration for session hosts.
•Plan, install, and configure FS Logix components and migrate user profiles, including profile/container settings, cloud cache, and application masking.
•Deploy and manage apps and user experience on session hosts, including MSIX App Attach/RemoteApp, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Microsoft 365 apps, printing, and troubleshooting.
•Implement AVD networking, storage, host pools/session hosts, and image management, including automation with PowerShell/CLI/ARM templates and capacity/performance planning.

Key Requirements

•Experience planning and implementing Azure Virtual Desktop access control using roles, RBAC, and Azure policies/blueprints.
•Hands-on security design for AVD, including conditional access, MFA, Azure Security Centre, Defender settings, and session host hardening.
•Ability to plan, install, and configure FS Logix, including profile/container setup, cloud cache, application masking, and profile migration.
•Experience deploying applications to session hosts using MSIX App Attach and RemoteApp, and configuring OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Microsoft 365 apps.
•Proficiency designing AVD networking, storage, host pools/session hosts, and image management using PowerShell/CLI and ARM templates.
