Job Summary

Lead Managed Channel delivery end to end in a hands-on turnaround: migrate email/push/SMS messaging from hard-coded legacy services to event-driven workflows in the customer-data platform (Bloomreach) and onto Groupon’s TypeScript foundation (Encore). Own the migration cadence with a small team, design reliable message flows, respond to incidents using AI-assisted analysis, and keep Prague/London stakeholders informed throughout.

Key Responsibilities

•Migrate offer and click events into the customer-data platform (Bloomreach), retire hand-built integrations, and move live channel traffic to the new foundation without customer impact.
•Own the end-to-end delivery cadence and act as the single point of accountability for Managed Channel delivery.
•Design event-driven reliability so double-sending is impossible by construction.
•Lead AI-first incident response: use AI-assisted analysis to identify misconfigurations under load and turn findings into reusable runbooks.
•Collaborate with a small engineering team and keep Prague/London stakeholders updated on migration progress.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CZK 1,592,489 - 2,274,984 annually

•Hands-on engineering leadership experience migrating or modernizing under-invested systems (legacy to modern) without breaking live traffic.
•Ability to design event-driven messaging flows where duplicate sends are prevented by construction.
•Experience leading a small team and operating across time zones with stakeholders.
•Proven track record documenting, making systems observable, and improving reliability to enable predictable operations.
•Strong practical coding experience in production and working within an AI-first development workflow.
