Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare or review complex tax returns and supporting workpapers, including estimated tax payments and other tax compliance.
  • •Prepare or review quarterly tax provisions, including management/external auditor reporting, account reconciliations, tax basis balance sheet support, and internal controls execution.
  • •Support company tax audits, respond to tax notices, and resolve tax controversy matters in a timely manner.
  • •Perform technical tax research to address complex tax issues and planning opportunities.
  • •Analyze processes and recommend improvements in the immediate area of responsibility; may support local projects and legislative/organization changes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 72,500 - 118,700 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in Corporate Tax, or a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 6+ years in Corporate Tax, or a Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (Associate Degree) with 4+ years in Corporate Tax.
  • •Experience in income tax.
  • •Statutory accounting knowledge.
  • •Able to resolve complex tax accounting, reporting, planning, audit, research, and/or compliance issues to defined procedures or service levels.
  • •Experience working with corporate tax returns, quarterly tax provisions, and tax compliance activities.
