Job Summary

Lead day-to-day operations for a client site in South San Francisco, managing scheduling, goals, dashboards, and escalations to maintain service levels. Drive workflow streamlining and operational continuous improvement using structured problem-solving, analyze operational data, and partner with Quality and Compliance on CAPA. Manage and develop direct reports through performance reviews and training, support client operational reviews and SLAs, and oversee safety and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Own day-to-day operational delivery for the assigned site, including scheduling, task prioritization, exception management, and escalation during shifts/on-call.
•Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly operational goals; monitor real-time dashboards and reallocate resources to maintain service levels.
•Lead continuous improvement by streamlining workflows, designing and piloting workflow changes, and tracking outcomes on productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.
•Analyze operational data (service level reports, cycle count variances, customer feedback) to identify trends and root causes; implement solutions within scope and support CAPA activities.
•Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, development conversations, and hiring/support for associates and specialists; ensure safety, training currency, and documented compliance processes.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree in supply chain, business, or life sciences preferred.
•5+ years of experience in laboratory services, warehouse, logistics, or inventory management operations.
•2-3 years of formal supervisory experience with direct reports and full performance management responsibility.
•Documented experience leading operational improvement initiatives.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
