Job Summary

Strategic People Partner to advise senior leaders across Oyster’s Americas region. You’ll drive organizational design, lead employee relations, coach managers, optimize performance processes, and collaborate cross-functionally. This remote role requires 7+ years in People/HR, experience with globally distributed teams, and a focus on AI-enabled, scalable people programs to support rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Strategic leadership: Act as the primary contact for senior leaders, streamlining People interactions and driving consistent messaging across the organization to guide strategic decisions.
•Organizational design: Collaborate with department heads to optimize team structure and improve efficiency aligned with company goals.
•Employee relations leadership: Proactively handle employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and partner with Legal to mitigate risk.
•Leadership development and enablement: Coach managers on leadership principles and partner with L&D to strengthen managerial capabilities.
•Performance process management: Refine performance processes and advise on country-specific requirements, ensuring compliant and fair development plans.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 110,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 7 years of People and Business Partner experience in dynamic, fast-paced organizations.
•Organizational design expertise including experience partnering with leaders through significant org design changes.
•Deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, coaching and facilitation, and performance management and employee relations.
•Significant experience partnering with globally distributed teams across time zones. Required experience across both Americas and EMEA.
•Strong communication skills and executive presence with the ability to explain complex topics clearly in writing and verbally.
