Job Summary

Lead the adoption of big data and emerging data technologies to build innovative data products and uncover improvement opportunities. Direct an analyst team, drive data source and tool innovations based on stakeholder needs, and govern data assets. Provide strategic leadership across cross-functional initiatives, deliver advanced reporting and visualization, and promote adoption of data tools. Manage agile stakeholder capacity and lead an ongoing migration from on-prem to AWS cloud.

•Lead adoption of big data tools and emerging data technologies, both proprietary and open source.
•Lead and manage an analyst team, including training and enhancing associate skill-sets.
•Create leading-edge data products and govern data assets through governance plans and structures.
•Provide strategic leadership on large cross-functional initiatives and report on data analysis using novel visualization techniques.
•Drive migration from on-premise implementations to cloud (AWS) and partner on data flow standards across ingestion, transformation, access, and publishing.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering) and 10 years of experience in data analytics.
•In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a master’s or foreign equivalent degree with 8 years of data analytics experience.
•8 years of experience leading and developing with open-source data technologies.
•6 years of experience managing people.
•Must live within commuting distance of the Plano, Texas office (telecommuting permitted per policy).
