Job Summary

Provide global system engineering leadership for transport refrigeration and auxiliary power unit controller development. Partner with product and platform, software/hardware, and third parties to ensure requirements are captured, specifications and architecture are clearly documented, and milestones and schedules are met. Lead technical performance assurance, lifecycle updates, feasibility studies, and improvements to development and troubleshooting tools while ensuring embedded controller integration supports FMEA and design-for-service/testability.

•Provide global control system engineering support for transport refrigeration units and auxiliary power units.
•Coordinate internal and external electronics and software efforts to capture requirements, document designs/specifications, identify milestones, and meet schedules.
•Partner with product management, project management, and platform teams to ensure new products perform as required.
•Develop and improve information communication process flow and tools across the new product development process.
•Lead assurance that technical performance meets system platform requirements and support lifecycle projects to update product performance.

Salary: USD 105,228.33 - 146,720 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
•Preferred experience as a system engineer.
•Strong working knowledge of hardware and software controller implementations.
•Hands-on embedded controller lifecycle experience across requirements, design, implementation, integration testing, deployment, and post-production support.
•Experience with Agile in a product development culture; willingness to work with offshore development groups.
