Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times during installation for testing.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without a custom keypad/controller, then integrate communication between keypad and telematics.
  • •Work through installation scenarios from basic (power, ignition, ground) to complex wiring harnesses involving CAN network access.
  • •Travel to client sites and EquipmentShare rental yards for installation cases, and occasionally work outside business hours and on weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools; hard-working and eager to learn.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer).
  • •Be able to drive and travel within a 250-mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time.
  • •Pass a background check and be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen (safety sensitive role).
