Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform site walk-downs for data collection and prepare I/O databases, including partitioning from third-party DCS/PLC systems.
  • •Design and implement power plant control and protection systems.
  • •Conduct process simulation and testing.
  • •Support design review meetings, Pre-FAT, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and cleanup after FAT.
  • •Verify and functionally test I/O interfaces to field devices and supervise control system installation, commissioning, and start-up.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in ECE, EEE, I&C, or E&I.
  • •7 to 10 years of experience in power plant process, project engineering, and commissioning.
  • •Process knowledge of HRSG, Boiler and BOP control systems.
  • •Ability to design and implement control systems and protection philosophies for sub-critical/super-critical fossil-fired and combined cycle power plants.
  • •Proficiency with ISA/SAMA logic symbols, P&IDs, and electrical/mechanical/hydraulic schematics, plus experience with one or more DCS/PLC platforms.
