Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following safety procedures (JSAs, MSDS, LOTO) and wearing required PPE.
  • •Inspect, adjust, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pulleys, belt/chain drives, clutches) using tools such as gear pullers and chain hoists.
  • •Stop machinery, lock out, troubleshoot high-speed production problems, repair equipment, and restart to test repairs.
  • •Maintain an orderly work area throughout the shift using 5-S, replace tools, discard unusable parts, and box usable parts for vendor repair.
  • •Attend weekly shift meetings for safety training, quality issues, and company updates; perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, or an Associate Degree in Industrial Engineering or Electronic Technology.
  • •2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience with an Associate Degree; or 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience in lieu of a degree.
  • •Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures including JSAs, MSDS, and LOTO.
  • •Experience repairing and reassembling mechanical equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pulleys, belt/chain drives, and clutches.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot high-speed production problems and restart equipment after repairs.
