Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with the planning and delivery of ground investigation projects.
  • •Undertake geological logging of soil and rock samples in accordance with industry standards.
  • •Support supervision of drilling, trial pitting, and other site investigation activities.
  • •Collect, manage, interpret, and report geological, geotechnical, and environmental data.
  • •Support health, safety, and quality assurance procedures and perform site inspections and monitoring activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Earth Sciences, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
  • •Good understanding of geological principles, soil and rock classification, and ground conditions.
  • •Knowledge of ground investigation techniques and geological logging.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good report writing and technical documentation abilities.
  • •Flexible and willing to travel throughout the UK (and where required, overseas), and hold a full UK driving licence (manual).
