Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive enterprise Data Quality and Data Stewardship strategy and multi-year roadmap tied to business outcomes.
  • •Lead foundational data improvement projects by identifying systemic gaps, prioritizing by impact, and driving root-cause fixes with system/process owners.
  • •Directly manage the India stewardship team and run both the DQ and stewardship operating models, including intake/triage/remediation/validation/closure and data ownership/escalation coverage.
  • •Own and mature the Data Quality Platform (profiling, rule development, monitoring, alerting, and scorecards) and deliver DQ and stewardship transparency via Power BI.
  • •Drive AI readiness by building semantic context and data definitions for AI-consumable data and trust cards for data quality signals; lead adoption through accountability and change management, including hands-on RCA and coaching.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in data quality, stewardship, and/or governance, including 5+ years managing people, with experience leading distributed or offshore teams.
  • •Familiarity with modern data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, DGPO, or DCAM.
  • •Advanced SQL skills for profiling, reconciliation, anomaly detection, and trend analysis.
  • •Experience implementing and operating Collibra Data Quality in production (rules, monitoring, scorecards, workflows).
  • •Hands-on experience applying AI for data quality and stewardship, including building and socializing an AI readiness roadmap with change management.
