Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist on feasibility studies and produce procurement reports.
  • •Perform estimating and cost planning, producing and presenting final cost plans.
  • •Manage tendering and procurement including the pre-qualification stage.
  • •Handle post-contract cost variances and change control; complete cost checks and valuations on larger projects.
  • •Produce monthly post-contract cost reports, contribute to value engineering, and negotiate and agree final accounts while interfacing with clients and consultants.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record delivering high-quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.
  • •Professional qualification ideally (RICS or similar).
  • •Degree or HNC level qualification.
  • •Good knowledge of construction, ideally from a Main Contracting or PQS background.
  • •Outgoing, collaborative approach with a strong desire to understand how buildings are put together and what that means for modern contractors.
