Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose issues using real-time information.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing customer and company-owned Pump, Power & HVAC equipment in the shop and at customer sites.
  • •Travel to customer job sites as needed to perform preventive maintenance and repairs (power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, oil-free air compressors).
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures and handle repairs, working individually or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment.
  • •Maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation, assist with training lower-level technicians as needed, and support pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of applicable tools, including owning tools applicable to the role.
  • •Experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred. EPA 608 certification preferred (obtainable within 6–12 months).
