Key Responsibilities

•Perform neurophysiological tests (EEG, EMG, Evoked Potentials)
•Interpret test results to aid diagnosis
•Collaborate with neurologists and surgeons
•Monitor neural function during surgeries
•Maintain accurate patient records
•Stay updated with neurophysiology advancements
•Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments
•Proficiency in EEG, EMG, NCS, and EP testing
•Data interpretation and diagnostic analysis
•Familiarity with neurophysiology equipment and software
•Understanding of nervous system anatomy and physiology
•Ability to stay updated with latest research and technologies
•Empathy and patient-centered care
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Adaptability to diverse patient needs
•Ethical decision-making and cultural sensitivity
•Teamwork and professionalism in clinical settings
•Typically daytime hours; minimal night shifts
•Hospital, surgical, or research lab environments
•May involve intraoperative monitoring during surgeries
•Opportunities for study leave and professional development
•Reports to Head of Neurology or Clinical Director
•Collaborates with neurologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and technicians
•May be part of a centralized or interdisciplinary team
•Participates in regular team meetings and case reviews
•Deliver accurate and timely neurophysiological assessments
•Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
•Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and documentation
•Contribute to continuous improvement and research initiatives

Key Requirements

•PhD or MD in Neurophysiology or related field
•Certification (e.g., ABCN or equivalent)
•Proficiency in neurophysiological testing equipment

•Bachelor’s and Master’s in neuroscience or related field
•Completion of fellowship/training in neurophysiology
•1–2 years clinical or research experience preferred
•Experience in hospital or academic settings
