Job Summary

Experienced Treasury Manager to oversee £15bn+ customer funds in a global safeguarding framework, shaping investment strategies, managing liquidity and risk, and collaborating with Risk, Compliance and Finance. You’ll lead market analysis, stakeholder reporting, and partner relationships while delivering tooling with Product/Engineering to optimize returns across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee the management of £15b+ of customer funds within global safeguarding rules, optimising returns while maintaining adequate liquidity, minimising risk to capital and managing P&L stability
•Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with local regulatory requirements and within Wise's risk appetite
•Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
•Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks
•Manage the relationships with our banks and counterparties, negotiating on price while enhancing opportunities for future initiatives

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 130,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience managing a material asset portfolio
•Experience with trading and short-term fixed income products (Treasury bills, Money Market Funds, Corporate bonds, Commercial Paper, Repo/Reverse Repo)
•Experience working within CASS or Safeguarding frameworks or other regulated environments
•Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas about financial instruments to a range of stakeholders
•Experience driving the strategic allocation and execution of a HQLA portfolio using advanced analytical tools to interpret market data and monitor key risk indicators
