Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply knowledge of the K12 curriculum and online school standards for assigned grade and subject.
  • •Support students and parents with placement, online setup, and curriculum/instructional issues.
  • •Monitor and develop student academic progress plans; generate and maintain formal progress reports and alerts to administrators.
  • •Contact students regularly via email or phone and respond to inquiries (typically within one business day).
  • •Organize orientations and activities for students and families; support state assessments and serve as a proctor when required.

Salary: USD 49,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of successful teacher experience within the virtual setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Be a state-certified teacher and/or alternatively certified CTE teacher for the role.
  • •Ability to clear required background check(s).
  • •Strong content and subject-matter knowledge with the ability to support and guide students and adults.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and knowledge of K12 databases/LMS used for monitoring progress.
