Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and influence the direction of a small team within the Command and Control Software organization for path planning and route optimization.
  • •Prototype and deploy algorithms for global/local path planning, trajectory optimization, and multi-agent coordination in command and control systems.
  • •Develop high-performance real-time C2 software, including mission planning tools and autonomous tasking and routing services.
  • •Design robust planners, search algorithms, and decision-making systems to generate safe, feasible, optimal routes in dynamic, uncertain, contested environments.
  • •Analyze system performance using high-fidelity simulations and modeling, and customize algorithms for mission-critical customer use cases.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in algorithm design and mathematical modeling with C/C++, Python, and Matlab software development experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of path planning methods including graph-based search (A*, D* Lite) and sampling-based planners (RRT, RRT*, PRM), plus lattice or grid-based planning.
  • •Demonstrated GNC experience including guidance, navigation, and control; trajectory optimization; and/or predictive modeling for vehicle dynamics and effectiveness.
  • •Solid applied math skills in linear algebra, optimization, computational geometry, and graph theory, applied to autonomous planning.
  • •Ability to engineer planning systems under uncertainty and multi-agent coordination for dynamic, contested environments; eligible for and able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
