Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide eyes-on-glass monitoring of network infrastructure using monitoring tools.
  • •Investigate, verify, and report issues; escalate to Tier 2 network operations when needed.
  • •Access devices, analyze graphing, and review device logs and documentation.
  • •Perform firewall utilization monitoring and real-time monitoring of vital TIC connections.
  • •Manage events and communications (including outage summaries, lessons learned reports, and incident review support).

Key Requirements

  • •AA/AS (or equivalent) plus 3+ years of related experience.
  • •Minimum 3 years in a help desk/service desk, customer service, or NOC environment.
  • •Minimum 3 years IT experience with a solid understanding of networking and/or network monitoring tools.
  • •Preference for BA/BS.
  • •Experience with IT infrastructure operations and familiarity with ITIL/ITSM tools is desired.
