Key Responsibilities

  • •Communicate with stakeholders to resolve delivery issues and work production queries or incidents using workaround and long-term solutions.
  • •Present, develop, and apply program fixes for application defects according to change management standards.
  • •Lead the design of reusable, maintainable solutions and ensure product solution design is cost-effective across the agile development lifecycle.
  • •Break down system functions into multiple-tier API layers and microservices, while managing backlog flow for design activities.
  • •Provide application incident on-call support during off business hours and weekend/public holiday support per project and business needs.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of IT software development experience with Java 8+ and strong knowledge of Spring, RESTful services, Spring Boot, and microservice architectures.
  • •Experience delivering and supporting enterprise-grade solutions in a financial institution, including architecting and implementing changes.
  • •Hands-on experience with HTTP/RESTful APIs and JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue.js.
  • •Strong RDBMS/NoSQL knowledge (e.g., DB2, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis) and containerization with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • •DevOps and cloud experience, including tools like Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and messaging services such as IBM MQ or Kafka; strong Agile/Scrum and communication skills.
  • •Excellent written and spoken communication skills and fluent in English.
