Job Summary

Develop and maintain simulation software for the SAETA 2 aircraft trainer, supporting both the embedded training solution and the SAETA 2 simulators. Design and implement real-time/near-real-time C++ components, lead requirements engineering and architectural design, and ensure V&V through automated unit/integration/system testing. Integrate software into large-scale simulators or avionics HIL environments, following regulated lifecycle processes and contributing to peer reviews and mentorship.

•Support the design, development, and deployment of devices in the Ground Based Training System, including Virtual Reality training devices.
•Elicit, analyze, and document software requirements with traceability and compliance to industry standards.
•Lead architectural and detailed design of complex software components optimized for real-time or near-real-time systems.
•Perform hands-on integration into large-scale simulators or avionics hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•At least 10 years of experience.
•Expert C++ programming with strong focus on memory management, concurrency, and performance optimization.
•Deep knowledge of software design patterns and software architecture.
•Experience with regulated software development lifecycles (e.g., AQAP, DO-178C or similar).
•Proficiency in verification & validation, including unit/integration/system testing and automated test suites.
