Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build Avaloq solutions aligned to agreed solution design/architecture and customer journey needs.
  • •Configure and parameterise Avaloq to meet private banking business requirements.
  • •Develop scripts and supporting components (e.g., PL/SQL, Unix shell) to enable functionality, automation, and operational effectiveness.
  • •Own unit and integration test development and support Test Engineers’ execution.
  • •Ensure compliance, maintain/evidence group controls, resolve control gaps, and maintain operational stability and availability via debugging and incident/problem analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years overall development experience with 5+ years hands-on Avaloq (build and configuration).
  • •Strong Avaloq platform knowledge including parameterisation, reporting, and interfaces, plus understanding the proprietary scripting model.
  • •Solid private banking domain understanding across customer journeys, products, and servicing/operations considerations.
  • •Strong SQL/PL/SQL capability with data investigation skills and performance-aware coding.
  • •Good Unix/Linux and scripting (shell) with operational tooling exposure (e.g., Control-M scheduling).
