Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver electrical designs from concept through detailed design and construction support.
  • •Collaborate with global multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate actively in the design process.
  • •Deliver projects from inception to close-out for defined work packages, with focus on data centre projects.
  • •Engage with clients and professional teams to support delivery, coordination, and clear technical communication.
  • •Perform and support power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash) and assist with specification/integration of MV systems, transformers, standby generation, UPS systems, and switchgear.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum BSc Eng. or B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • •At least 7 years consulting engineering experience with building services and industrial environment.
  • •Professional Registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech Eng) advantageous.
  • •Working knowledge of IEC, SANS and BS standards applicable to MV/LV power systems, with exposure to data centre standards (TIA-942 / Uptime principles) advantageous.
  • •Perform and support power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash) using eTAP or equivalent tools.
