Supervise daily operations within a vehicle Reconditioning/Inspection Center, directing at least five leads and up to 70 front-line associates in a lean manufacturing environment. Drive continuous improvement and high associate engagement while meeting quality, production, and cost objectives. Oversee training, certification, production capacity, and safety/loss prevention compliance, and lead problem-solving efforts to achieve performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
•Provide mentoring, accountability, coaching, training, and performance management for direct reports, including succession planning.
•Ensure adherence to operating standards, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
•Maintain supervisory staffing by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; ensure progression path training and certification processes are executed.
•Manage production capacity, lead problem-solving and continuous improvement, and ensure health and safety and loss prevention compliance while meeting quality, production, and cost metrics.

Key Requirements

•5 years of management experience in automotive or a lean manufacturing environment.
•Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
•Experience leading and developing associates.
•Proven ability to obtain project deliverables and company metrics.
•Must be able to work overtime and on weekends; valid driver’s license with a clean record.
