Build large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems for TikTok Shop, including commodity, live-stream, and short-video recommendations. Key Responsibilities

•Build large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems, including commodity, live stream, and short video recommendations.
•Develop long- and short-term user interest models and design algorithms to efficiently explore users' latent interests from large datasets.
•Design, develop, evaluate, and iterate predictive models for candidate generation and ranking (e.g., CTR and conversion-rate prediction), including real-time data pipelines, feature engineering, and model optimization.
•Design and build supporting/debugging tools as needed and support scalable, optimized AI/ML model production.
•Run experiments to test deployed model performance, resolve bugs, and work with software platforms where models are deployed.

Key Requirements

•Final year or recent PhD graduate in software development, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Strong programming and problem-solving ability.
•Experience in applied machine learning and familiarity with algorithms such as collaborative filtering, matrix factorization, factorization machines, Word2vec, logistic regression, gradient boosting trees, deep neural networks, or wide and deep.
•Experience with deep learning tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
•Experience with at least one programming language such as C++ or Python (or equivalent).
