Key Responsibilities

  • •Map current-state workflows across plan administration, calculation, approvals, and payout; identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone steps and prioritize improvements by risk and business impact.
  • •Design and build automated workflows, integrations, and tooling to replace manual processes, reducing reliance on spreadsheets and one-off scripts.
  • •Serve as a hands-on owner of Xactly instances (e.g., Incent and Connect), configuring rules, plan logic, workflows, and tuning the platform to automate heavy manual work.
  • •Identify and operationalize AI-enabled automation (e.g., exception detection, data reconciliation, plan document review, or answering comp questions) via production workflows/integrations.
  • •Partner with IC, Finance & Strategy, People Ops, RevOps, and IT/Data to ensure systems are correctly integrated with clean, reliable incentive compensation data and maintain governance documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in incentive compensation, sales operations, revenue operations, or related systems/process improvement roles in a fast-paced technology/SaaS environment.
  • •SQL fluency to query and reconcile data across systems to diagnose process gaps and validate automated outputs.
  • •Hands-on experience systematizing commission operations by replacing manual steps with automated workflows, tooling, or RPA/IC platforms (e.g., Xactly).
  • •Comfort with incentive compensation system fluency across CRM (Salesforce/SFDC), HRIS, data warehouses (BigQuery), and comp platforms (Xactly) including how data flows between them.
  • •Strong cross-functional communication and analytical rigor to understand comp mechanics (quotas, accelerators, SPIFFs, payout timing) and prioritize fixes with risk/time impact in mind.
