Job Summary

Support AECOM’s Water business by providing Civil 3D and AutoCAD modelling support within a multidisciplinary engineering team. Work independently with established civil engineering practices, coordinate CAD workflows, and collaborate across disciplines during iterative design. Help gather and analyze engineering data using defined methods, maintain CAD standards, and support model validation within Navisworks and common data environments such as ProjectWise—helping deliver large-scale Scottish Water infrastructure work.

Key Responsibilities

•Work independently using established civil engineering knowledge and best practices to provide meaningful input to design.
•Take technical responsibility for a major phase/component and lead CAD workflow coordination.
•Collaborate with engineers of multiple disciplines throughout the iterative design process.
•Provide Civil 3D modelling support to the engineering team and help gather/correlate engineering data.
•Support CAD Lead in maintaining CAD standards and processes for modelling, content creation, and digital developments.

Key Requirements

•Certified minimum of an HNC or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
•Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
•Familiarity with other 3D modelling software such as Autodesk ReCap and Revit.
•Experience validating and coordinating models in Navisworks or similar software.
•Experience working in a Common Data Environment such as ProjectWise or Autodesk Construction.

Education:Certification / Diploma in engineering discipline
