Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the team for Life Insurance Underwriting, MI & Governance, and related transformation projects.
  • •Act as SME and underwriting decision-maker for simplified/full/HNW underwriting on life insurance products.
  • •Drive customer-centric digitalization and operational efficiency by enabling underwriting rules for straight-through processing.
  • •Oversee outsourcing parties for proper oversight, governance, and best-in-class service delivery.
  • •Formulate and review underwriting policies, guidelines, and manuals to ensure compliance; monitor risks and controls continuously and advise senior management on long-term mortality and morbidity targets.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 15 years of life insurance underwriting experience, including at least five years in the High Net Worth market.
  • •Minimum 10 years of managerial experience.
  • •Hold substantial financial sum insured authority of likely not less than USD 20m.
  • •Proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken), with strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills; relevant professional qualifications are preferred.
