Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure production equipment and automation meet safety, food safety, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • •Perform preventive/predictive maintenance checklists and calibrations for building and production equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and related maintenance problems; assign criticality and prioritize work.
  • •Manage work orders on CMMS/GSheets and maintain maintenance logs and quality standards.
  • •Coordinate repairs and inspections for facility safety systems; coordinate with contractors and support upgrades/installation projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • •Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a food processing/service environment or manufacturing industry.
  • •Experience standing for prolonged periods, including regular bending, twisting, and walking.
  • •Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs and work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C).
  • •Skilled with basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools; must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
