Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and drive the roadmap for reconditioning tools and systems across Carvana’s IC network.
  • •Partner with IC leadership to improve reconditioning workflow and throughput by identifying bottlenecks and reducing cycle time.
  • •Build and refine labor forecasting and utilization models, providing visibility for day-to-day staffing decisions.
  • •Define and improve vehicle quality standards, inspection tools, and processes to reduce defects and comebacks.
  • •Translate shop-floor and operational needs into requirements and user stories, including designing AI/ML-driven solutions with DSS and ML Engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or Computer Science (or related).
  • •For Product Manager: 2+ years of product management experience; for Associate Product Manager: 0-2 years with strong internship, analytical, or operational experience.
  • •Comfort operating in and regularly visiting a lean manufacturing/reconditioning environment, including willingness to travel to Inspection Centers across the network.
  • •Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally on complex product areas with dependency management.
  • •AI-first product approach, including hands-on experience using AI tools for research, analysis, prototyping, and day-to-day productivity.
