Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, maintain, test, inspect, and repair plant equipment including boilers, turbines, pumps, motors, valves, condensers, and heat exchanger vessels.
  • •Replace bearings, packing, shaft seals, sleeves, seats, and other parts on pumps and valves.
  • •Troubleshoot stationary and rotating equipment and make repairs according to best practices.
  • •Operate machine shop equipment and perform repairs including welding/cutting, plumbing and pipe fitting, and insulation removal/installation (non-asbestos).
  • •Use blueprints and technical instructions, develop proficiency with SAP, document work for equipment histories, and coordinate materials and safety compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, with equivalent knowledge of English, mathematics, and grammar.
  • •Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in repairing, inspecting, and/or maintaining power plant or machine shop equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • •3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a similar industrial environment.
  • •Knowledgeable of environmental rules and regulations and able to apply them to all work situations.
  • •Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
