Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with customers, program management, vendors, and partners to develop and decompose system requirements and define system interfaces supporting validation and verification planning.
•Perform system performance analysis and support hardware and software integration and test activities for electro-optical systems.
•Execute integration, verification, and validation testing, collecting and analyzing data to assess and optimize performance; document results via test reports and technical briefings.
•Conduct troubleshooting, calibration, and root-cause analysis during testing, supporting corrective and preventive action development and system design updates.
•Use laboratory or field test equipment and analysis tools (including MATLAB) for simulation, modeling, and quantitative evaluation; participate in technical reviews and interchange meetings.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (STEM preferred) and at least 5 years of relevant experience in design/development and testing of EO/IR systems or related work.
•Experience with product life cycle activities for space development programs and associated milestones (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PSR/CTSR).
•Experience designing, integrating, or testing EO/IR systems, imagers, focal planes, or opto-mechanical components.
•Knowledge of signal/image processing, computer vision, tracking, machine learning, or object recognition.
•Systems architecture and design experience, including IV&V planning and execution.
