Job Summary

Evaluate, select, and procure manufacturing equipment, then oversee installation, upgrades, modification, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate, select, and order cost-effective manufacturing equipment for company products.
•Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
•Stay current on equipment manufacturer technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
•Study equipment performance and reliability, and develop solutions to increase uptime and address manufacturing-process issues.
•Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations and define preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.
•Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA (or higher).
•Knowledge of AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers equipment.
•Knowledge of PVD, CVD, high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum.
•Understanding of tool monitoring and interdiction software, plus equipment maintenance and documentation.
