Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and order cost-effective manufacturing equipment for company products.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Stay current on equipment manufacturer technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • •Study equipment performance and reliability, and develop solutions to increase uptime and address manufacturing-process issues.
  • •Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations and define preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.
  • •Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA (or higher).
  • •Knowledge of AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers equipment.
  • •Knowledge of PVD, CVD, high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum.
  • •Understanding of tool monitoring and interdiction software, plus equipment maintenance and documentation.
