Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain controls and automations to enable Wise products across Europe.
•Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, and other teams daily.
•Drive end-to-end ownership of projects to hit defined goals and improve customer experience.
•Design and implement data-driven solutions with a focus on performance and reliability.
•Write testable code following best practices and participate in code reviews and open feedback.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience with Java (or other JVM language) and Spring, with deep understanding of JDBC and database internals.
•Experience with CI/CD pipelines and distributed and concurrent systems.
•Strong product mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions to fix customer pain-points.
•Ability to work independently with end-to-end ownership of projects and drive them to meet goals.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
