Job Summary

Develop customer relationships and drive sales by proactively identifying financial needs and recommending retail consumer and small business products. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, run periodic reviews with marketing tools, and cross-sell deposits, loans, and fee-based services. Partner with mortgage, small business, commercial, and investment business partners through referrals, meet production and customer experience goals, and uphold risk, ethics, and confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and schedule periodic financial review appointments.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and conduct outside sales activities, including presentations and community financial literacy events.
•Serve as a trusted partner by working with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and referring customers appropriately while meeting production and customer experience goals.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Ability to comfortably conduct sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to follow retail policies and procedures using sound judgment; S.A.F.E. Act registration through NMLS is required at employment.
