Key Responsibilities

  • •Own cost improvement and unit economics for specific hardware programs, establishing and tracking should-costs and cost targets against plan.
  • •Analyze key performance indicators (cost per unit, revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures) by building complex cost models and decision tools.
  • •Establish cost targets and guide Supply Chain, Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing decisions through cost vs. performance tradeoffs.
  • •Track, report, and proactively manage profit improvement across design proposals, supply chain initiatives, and manufacturing process changes.
  • •Evaluate major CapEx decisions, expansion plans, and business cases for automation, manufacturing scope, insource vs. outsource, and location.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, physics, or another quantitative field.
  • •1+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, product management, operations, FP&A, consulting, banking, or entrepreneurship.
  • •1+ years of experience in Excel or programming.
  • •Ability to drive tangible impact and influence within an ambiguous environment.
  • •Strong analytical modeling skills and the ability to read and interpret income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
